Emily Schindler Memorial Lecture
About Emily and this Lecture
Emily Schindler was an 18 year old freshman at Frostburg State University when she was tragically killed in a car accident. Emily is the daughter of Charles and Jane Schindler. The Emily Schindler Memorial Lecture was established in 2005 through a gift to the Hospice Foundation in memory of Emily from Saint Agnes Cancer Center.
Emily's short life was filled with friends, family and a genuine sense of happiness. Her thoughtfulness and concern for others continue on through the Emily Schindler Memorial Lecture. She would be honored to know she is helping to train others caring for those suffering. Throughout her life she was there for others, whether it was an encouraging word to a teammate or friend, a hug and smile for her parents or sisterly advice to her siblings. Emily is thought of and missed every day.
